SCIE Journal (IF = 3.2) Special Issue Publication Opportunity

Abstract submission is mandatory for all APCS 2027 participants. Authors who wish to be considered for the Special Issue must additionally submit a full conference paper.

Among the submitted full papers, outstanding papers will be selected and recommended for submission to a Special Issue of Structural Engineering and Mechanics (SEM), an SCIE-indexed journal with an Impact Factor of 3.2.

Authors of the recommended papers will be invited to prepare a substantially extended journal manuscript. All invited manuscripts will undergo the journal’s standard, independent, and fair peer-review process, and only manuscripts that successfully pass the review and editorial process will be published in the Special Issue.

The 15th Asian Pacific Conference on Shell and Spatial Structures (APCS 2027) invites researchers, engineers, architects, practitioners, and students to submit their work for presentation at the conference, to be held in Jeju, Korea, from May 25 to 28, 2027.

APCS 2027 provides an international forum for discussing and exchanging traditions, innovations, and emerging research in the concept, analysis, design, environment, and construction of shell and spatial structures. The conference aims to contribute to shaping the future of digital, sustainable, and resilient shell and spatial structures.

Authors are invited to submit original contributions related to shell and spatial structures, including theoretical studies, computational methods, design practices, construction technologies, experimental research, and interdisciplinary approaches.
